Nov. 25: Teemu Ruskola presents “Inequality, China, and Corporate Law”

Teemu Ruskola (Emory University) will deliver a lecture at the Law School, and LBJ School Professor Jamie Galbraith will provide a brief response. Ruskola’s talk is about the history of “Legal Orientalism,” and more: how China has become a global symbol of disregard for human rights, while the United States has positioned itself as the world’s chief exporter of the rule of law. We always leave a lot of time for Q&A and discussion with the audience, especially from students. The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments are provided!
