McNair Scholars

Please help us spread the word that applications for McNair Scholars are open. McNair, part of the U.S. Department of Education’s funded TRIO programs, guides first-generation and low-income and/or underrepresented students into Ph.D. programs, and provides funding to assist with that process.

This year we are opening the application earlier than in past years. For the Fall due date, applications are due by 11:59P, Friday, 16 December.

There are several info sessions scheduled; students can find details on the attached flyer and on the website.

You and your students are welcome to email me (nabeeha.chaudhary@austin.utexas.edu) or Dr Eric Dieter (ericdieter@austin.utexas.edu) with any questions. Please forward widely to your colleagues and students. Thank you for helping us spread the word.
