The Social Innovation Initiative would be hosting the inaugural Texas Social Innovation Challenge on April 18th for UT-Austin students to pitch impact ventures. We are still hosting the challenge via Zoom, and would love to “see” you all at the finals! The Challenge is sponsored by Bumble, and Blackstone LaunchPad is our UT campus partner.
What: TSIC is an interdisciplinary pitch competition for social and environmental ventures. Five finalists will pitch their ventures for $10,000 in funding and a chance to represent UT-Austin at a global competition in June. Audience members will vote for a special “audience choice” award. Join us in selecting the most promising UT-Austin student impact ventures – from the comfort of your couch!
