Texas Sunshines is hosting their bi-annual Human Trafficking Panel at UT Austin on December 4th, 2021 from 2-4pm in JESA121A. The purpose of this panel is to raise awareness about the state of sex trafficking in Texas, how it can be prevented, and how we can help survivors. Speakers at this event include:

Ursula Wildfield – Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program at Refugee Services of Texas
Master Janell Smith – Self-Defense Instructor and Partners Against Child Trafficking Board Member
Dana Brown – Partners Against Child Trafficking Board Member
Esther Nwokocha – UT Nursing Instructor
Jason Spees – UT Nursing PhD student
Leekeshia Williams – UT’s Youth Protection Program and A21 Campaign to abolish modern-day slavery
