Olivia Applegate and Eric Nikolaides met as freshmen in 2010 in the dorms at the University of Texas in Austin. However, what began as just a late-night jam session in the dorm stairwell quickly became something special. Coming from completely different musical backgrounds, the duo began to work on innovative, soulful arrangements of popular songs that featured Olivia’s unique voice and Eric’s bluesy guitar. Eric & Olivia were featured as Top 48 quarterfinalists on NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent” over the summer and are excited to dive head first back into the Austin scene with a fresh perspective on music.
