About the Study

The Latino Family Support and Serious Mental Illness Research Study focuses on the well-being of Latino families providing support to loved ones with serious mental illness. Findings will provide information on the experience and needs of Latino families and persons with serious mental illness.

Eligibility

  • Identify as a Latino/a
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be a person with a serious mental illness (schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, or major depressive disorder)
  • Identify a family member who will also participate in the study

Participation Involves

  • An interview where you will complete survey questionnaires on stress and coping
  • Financial compensation of up to $100 for each participant
