It is election season at LBJ! Here are the steps you can take to get engaged in serving the student body at LBJ:
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏: Know what you’re voting for. GPAC, your student body government, has several Executive Committee, Chair, and Representative positions that are open and need nominations. You can find descriptions and requirements of each position in the linked flyer. Here is a list of open positions:
ExCom: President, Vice President, Finance Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director, Professional Development Director, Community Engagement Director, Student Life Director, Communications Director.
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐: Nominate yourself or someone who you think is best qualified for the positions here! Nominations are open until Friday, April 2nd at midnight. Candidates will need to reply to their nomination email informing GPAC they accept their nomination (with a bio for the election pamphlet) or decline their nomination by Wednesday, April 7th at midnight. Non-responses are considered acceptances of the nomination and we will list the candidate on the ballot without a bio.
