Little Longhorn Lab

Sibwatch is a developmental monitoring study for children with an older autistic sibling. Families have an opportunity to receive intervention to help their child develop social, communication, imitation, and play skills.

BLOOM is a study for young children born to mothers diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Families have an opportunity to receive intervention to help their child develop social, communication, imitation, and play skills.

Our work promotes positive change in early childhood development through meaningful partnerships with families, clinicians, and community stakeholders. By honoring the expertise of caregivers and practitioners, we offer tailored, evidence-based approaches to improving developmental trajectories.

Much of our funding comes from research grants, but community donations allow our team to expand our efforts beyond the scope of research. We invite you to donate and extend our reach by allowing us to provide:

  • Free personalized intervention sessions to families
  • Free language-support toy kits for families and community clinics
  • Training to early interventionists and student trainees
