Itzel Casillas, B.S.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Itzel Casillas is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences on the Speech-Language Pathology track, with a bilingual certificate in Spanish. She is also a member of Project ACCESS, where she studies how to provide appropriate, patient-centered care for children with high needs who have experienced adverse childhood experiences. Following graduation, she hopes to support children with disabilities and their families through compassionate, culturally responsive care.
