I became interested in the subject of transportation by taking Dr. Machemehl’s introductory class, and I have since been involved in an internship and multiple research positions in the field. I frequently travel as a pedestrian, driver, cyclist, and passenger in public transit which also inspires a real passion for integrating all modes of transportation and limiting dependence on single-occupancy vehicles. I am grateful to have a part on Dr. Machemehl’s team and look forward to more opportunities in the future.
