Manar is a Doctoral student who previously earned his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He hopes to tackle issues surrounding roadway safety and safety treatments, specifically with regards to properly calibrating crash reduction factors. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as volunteering in the UT community, as well as in the Bangladeshi community in Austin.
