Bod Pod and Pea Pod
What is a BodPod?
The BodPod is a safe, quick, and non-invasive tool that measures body composition—that means how much of your body is made up of fat and lean mass (like muscles, bones, and organs). You’ll sit inside a small, egg-shaped chamber for just a few minutes while the machine uses air pressure to estimate your body composition. It’s similar to being weighed, but it gives us more detailed information. The test is completely safe and does not involve any radiation. Watch this video about the BodPod!
What is a PeaPod?
The PeaPod is a safe, gentle, and non-invasive way to measure a baby’s body composition—how much of their body is made up of fat and lean mass (like muscles, bones, and organs). The baby lies comfortably inside a small, enclosed pod for about 2–3 minutes while the machine uses air pressure to estimate their body composition. It’s similar to being weighed but gives us more detailed information. The test is quick, does not use any radiation, and is completely safe for infants.
