Texas Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP):
Also known as “food stamps” is an entitlement program that provides monthly benefits to assist low-income households. Eligibility guidelines: US citizen, less than $5,000 in assets excluding house and most cars, <130% FPL).

Hosts mobile food pantries, provides nutrition education, and has a directory of local food pantries offering hot meals, groceries and meals for kids.

Non-profit offering housing assistance, navigation assistance, financial counseling and some food pantries.

ECHO:
A nonprofit agency serving member organizations and the community. As recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Mom’s Place Lactation Support Center:
Mom’s Place Lactation Support Center is a specialized breastfeeding support clinic and training center where mothers can receive breastfeeding assistance.

WIC:
WIC, is a nutrition program for pregnant, breastfeeding women and families with children younger than 5. You can take classes, meet with other families, and get one-on-one nutrition counseling so you can make smart choices and delicious family meals!
