Texas Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP):

Also known as “food stamps” is an entitlement program that provides monthly benefits to assist low-income households .

Eligibility guidelines: US citizen, less than $5,000 in assets excluding house and most cars, <130% FPL).

Central Texas Food Bank:

Hosts mobile food pantries, provides nutrition education, and has a directory of local food pantries offering hot meals, groceries and meals for kids.


Foundation Communities
:

Non-profit offering housing assistance, navigation assistance, financial counseling and some food pantries.

ECHO:

A nonprofit agency serving member organizations and the community. As recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
