Freddy Rivers is studying polymer synthesis and novel polymeric materials for use in separation processes for water purification membranes.
He was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. He attended Arizona State University and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2018. He joined the Freeman and Lynd research groups in the fall of 2018 to begin work with the newly founded EFRC Center for Materials for Water and Energy Systems (MWET) focusing on manufacturing of polymer membranes and membrane fouling studies.
