JC Davila was born in Queretaro City (Mexico) and moved to Round Rock, Texas in 2011. He completed his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University in 2017 (Whoop!). He joined the Freeman and Brennecke labs later that year.
Outside of lab he enjoys doing anything Les Mills, game nights at the Emerald Tavern, and cycling by the Brushy & Walnut creeks.
