Josh Moon’s research focused on investigating the influence of humidity on gas transport properties of polybenzimidazoles (PBIs) and developing models to describe water uptake in PBIs. He was also working on designing novel PBI blends using thermally rearrangeable polymers that exhibit improved gas separation performance. Josh was the safety officer for the Freeman group and was in charge of managing the group’s chemical inventory and performing safety training with new lab members.
Fun fact about me: In his spare time, Josh occasionally creates digital art based on mathematical fractal patterns.
