Rahul Sujanani’s research focuses on the fundamentals of ion and water transport in novel and existing polymers for water, energy, and resource recovery applications. He is performing extensive characterization of ion and water transport properties in these polymers, while extending some previous models of ion transport in polymers developed in our group. He is also working on synthesizing novel charged polymers that are simultaneously mechanically robust and have excellent ion transport properties.
