Horacio Lopez Marques obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara in 2016 and 2018, respectively. During his masters degree, he did an internship at the Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología de Polímeros in Madrid, Spain where he worked on the synthesis of gradient copolymers.
His research interests include polymer science and transport of molecules through polymers.
He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, co-advised by Dr. Benny Freeman and Dr. Manish Kumar.
