Sandhya (she/her/hers) received her BS in Biology and Master’s in Public Health in Environmental Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her career interests lie in program management of projects addressing mental health barriers for vulnerable populations and health disparities of underserved communities. She specializes in communication management and program implementation and has previously worked for state clients leading case investigation and contact tracing programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has lived in Birmingham, AL for the past 8 years and is a regular volunteer and the co-president of Coosa Riverkeeper’s Tributary Board. In her free time, she teaches yoga, tends to her two cats, and is learning how to cook!
