Laya is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Human Biology with minors in Social Work and Statistics and Data Science. In the lab, she mainly assist with alcohol administration sessions. Laya hope to use this experience to gain a deeper understanding of addiction psychology and the complex relationship between substance use and mental health. Outside the lab, she is in Alpha Phi Sigma and Texas Lonestars, and she enjoy hiking, exploring new places and food, and spending time with friends and family.
