MAIN Lab Volunteer Applications [currently CLOSED]
Thank you for your interest in our research, however we are at capacity and are not currently looking for any additional undergraduate or post-bach volunteers for the Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 semesters. Due to a high volume of emails, we are unable to reply to additional inquiries about research opportunities at this time.
Please check back in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027 to see if we have re-opened volunteer applications at that time.
When applications re-open: To apply for an undergraduate internship in our lab, please fill out the RAapp -sign in using your utexas email. If you have any further questions, please email behavioral.neuroimaging@austin.utexas.edu.
Please note, volunteers are expected to commit an average of 10 hours per week for a minimum commitment of 1 year (2 semesters, not including summer). Research assistant duties vary, but can include assisting with subject recruitment; helping run laboratory sessions and run MRI scans; coding, entering, and analyzing data. Course credit may be offered only after 2 semesters of good standing with the lab.
