Laiken Neumann (she/her/hers) is a senior journalism major from Spring, Texas. She loves diving deep into arts and culture, something she’s covered as a staff writer at ORANGE Magazine and as an intern at both Austin Monthly and the Austin Chronicle. She currently serves as the editor-in-chief of digital content for UT’s own music publication, Afterglow ATX, where she previously worked as a content and managing editor
She loves writing, but she also hates writing, as many writers do. That doesn’t mean the process has to be painful and isolating — she’s always eager to help others through it, wherever they may be! Whether you’re looking for direction, structure, AP style corrections or simply reassurance that you know what you’re doing, she’s here (well, on Zoom) and ready to go.
In her spare time, you can find her curating messy Spotify playlists or fawning over her latest pop culture obsession.
