About the Speaker:

Elizabeth Matsui, MD MHS, is a pediatric allergist-immunologist, epidemiologist, and leading international expert on environmental exposures and their effects on asthma and other allergic conditions. She directs a long-standing NIH-funded research program at the intersection of environmental health and lung disease disparities and has held leadership roles in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has served on a variety of federal panels, including National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine committees focused on the health effects of indoor and outdoor air pollution.
