Fonzo Team Recognized as Leading Research Achievement by the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation

Greg Fonzo

Greg Fonzo and his team were recognized by the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation as a 2025 Leading Research Achievement for their pilot study on noninvasive focused ultrasound neuromodulation therapy as a treatment for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. The team “observed a significant reduction in a general measure of negative-affect symptoms.” The study will allow for larger trials with placebo comparisons. Read the article.
