Research Focus

Brain & Nervous System Injury

Central nervous system injuries (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury) can lead to a lifetime of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural changes. At the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences our physicians carry multidisciplinary research to  better understand the mechanisms of those injuries and treat impacted people.

We explore interventions to reduce neural damage after injuries and to foster recovery using pharmacological and neuroengineering approaches.
