We’re welcoming Negar Sheihk Mohammadi Khamseh as a visiting PhD student to our group! Negar is a PhD student at the Politecnico di Milano, in the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering. She did her Bachelor of Architecture (2006-2011) and Master of Sustainable Architecture (2011-2013) at Bharati Vidyapeeth University. After graduation she worked as an architect in Tehran, working mainly on residential projects. Meanwhile, she was also teaching as a lecturer in the University of Applied Science and Technology.
In 2016, she started her PhD research on occupant behavior modeling and energy efficiency in buildings. Her research goal is to reduce the energy performance gap in buildings, by analyzing the role of occupants and studying human building interaction.
