This course introduces the fundamentals of computer programming in Matlab and C++.

This course studies the equations of motion of a rigid aircraft, aircraft performance, static stability and control, and dynamic stability.
ASE 372K – Attitude Dynamics.
This course studies attitude representations, rotational kinematics, rigid-body dynamics, sensors and actuators, attitude determination, and passive and active attitude control systems.
ASE 381P.6 – Statistical Estimation Theory.
This course examines methods of statistical estimation including Maximum Likelihood, Maximum A Posteriori, Least Squares, and Minimum Mean Square Error. Batch and Sequential approaches are presented. Kalman Filters, Unscented Filters, and Particle Filters are introduced.
ASE 381P.7 – Advanced Topics in Estimation Theory.
This course examines methods of stochastic estimation of nonlinear dynamical systems. Topics include linear and nonlinear minimum mean square error estimation.
ASE 389P.8 – Satellite Control Systems.
This course examines the methods of designing a closed loop satellite attitude control system. Momentum and Reaction Wheels, Control Moment Gyros, and Reaction Control Systems are studied. Various methods of attitude determination are presented.
