OBJECTIVE
The main goal of our project is to achieve convergence across various disciplines including communication science, autonomous systems, data science, and physiological sensing and between the researchers’ skills and their methods to effectively study the interaction of service robots in working communities such as our university campus.
VISION
The long term vision of this project is to provide guidelines, statistical data, deployment datasets and sociotechnical methods to ultimately inform key stakeholders such as federal/governments institutions, and organizations and compliance committees. By doing this, we believe the adoption of service robots will put communities’ interests at par with organizations, increasing the overall benefit of such deployments.
