The new search and discovery interface that UT Libraries introduced earlier this year has become even more comprehensive: Electronic resources stored in Texas ScholarWorks, UT’s institutional repository managed by UT Libraries, can now be discovered through https://search.lib.utexas.edu.
Texas ScholarWorks provides open, online access to the products of the University’s research and scholarship, to preserve these works for future generations, to promote new models of scholarly communication, and to help deepen community understanding of the value of higher education.
Search results on https://search.lib.utexas.edu will indicate materials that are only a click away on Texas ScholarWorks. In addition, users can focus search results for Texas ScholarWorks content by applying a “Resource Type” filter in the “Refine results” section of a search result list, or by performing an advanced search.
UT Libraries’ Access Systems unit worked closely with the Scholarly Communications unit and the Texas Digital Library to add the bibliographic information about more than 60,000 electronic resources in Texas ScholarWorks to the search engine driving UT Libraries’ search and discovery interface available at https://search.lib.utexas.edu.
