The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) is launching the 2023, Year of Open Science.
The Year of Open Science will see activity across federal government agencies to advance the national open science policy and provide better access to the results of taxpayer-funded research.
This announcement follows the August 2022, OSTP memo, Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research, which directed all federal granting agencies to submit plans for public access to research. You can learn more on our Federal Government Public Access Policies LibGuide.
