New in Texas ScholarWorks

Latin American Network Information Center (LANIC) – we’ve added several new collections of materials from the LANIC website. The LANIC website will sunset soon, but these materials will continue to be available via TSW.

State of Texas Advanced Resource Recovery (STARR) – STARR conducts geoscience and engineering research in the state of Texas and we have four new collections in TSW for reports, publications, posters, and presentations.

UT Austin COVID-19 Modeling Consortium – we added almost 100 reports from the Center for Pandemic Decision Science about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Division of Campus & Community Engagement (formerly the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement) – we’ve added several new collections, including Access Magazine, reports, organizational charts, strategic plans, and videos.

Open Access Publishing

The Open Access Initiatives Working Group is pleased to announce that we are now supporting the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) and OAPEN. DOAB indexes and provides access to scholarly, peer-reviewed, OA books and helps users find trusted OA book publishers. OAPEN provides open infrastructure services like hosting, preservation, and discovery to publishers, libraries, and research funders. Both DOAB and OAPEN are important tools for increasing the availability of OA books.

You can find a full list of our support for OA initiatives on our Open Access LibGuide.
