Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Course Requirements

6 hours of General Biology: BIOL 2311 & BIOL 2312

4 hours of Microbiology: BIOL 3V20 or BIOL 3520

3 hours of Genetics: BIOL 3301

8 hrs of General Chemistry: (CHEM 1311/1111) & (CHEM 1312/1112)

8 hours of Organic Chemistry: (CHEM 2323/2123) & (CHEM 2325/2125)

3 hours of Calculus: MATH 2413

3 hours of Statistics: STAT 1342 or STAT 3332

3 hours of Freshman Rhetoric and Composition: RHET 1302

3 hours of Sophomore Literature: LIT 2331 or LIT 2341

4 hours of Physics: (PHYS 1301/1101) or (PHYS 2325/2125)

Microbiology (including laboratory) must have one year of general biology and at least one semester of general chemistry as its prerequisite in order to satisfy our four credit hour microbiology requirement.
