Determining which courses will meet admission course requirements can take time and research.
Our office is unable to provide transcript evaluations but we hope the following information and self course evaluation approaches allow you to determine what courses (past, current, or future) will fulfill our prerequisite course requirements.
Applicants who are admitted to our Pharm.D. program will be required to submit official transcripts to the College of Pharmacy. Upon evaluation of these transcripts by UT Austin Main Admissions, we will then be able to provide correspondence of any deficiencies in prerequisite course requirements.

Step 1: Submit foreign transcript(s) documentation to the foreign transcript evaluation services as indicated by PharmCAS. Make sure you request a course-by-course evaluation.
Step 2: Once you receive your evaluation from a foreign transcript evaluation service, you can then compare your results with our list of pre-pharmacy prerequisite course requirements .
Step 3: If you do not have a bachelors degree that’s equivalent to a U.S. bachelors degree, then you will also be required to fulfill UT Austin’s general university course requirements also known as Core, Flag, and Foreign Language requirements. If you have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelors degree, the CORE and Global Cultures FLAG course requirements will be waived. If you are accepted into the UT Austin College of Pharmacy Pharm.D. program, we will then ask you to submit your official foreign transcript(s) to UT Austin’s Main Admissions Office. We will communicate more specific details at that time.
