Student Affairs Committee
The Student Affairs Committee is comprised of peer elected class representatives from each class (P1, P2 and P3). Class representatives are elected each semester and serve as liaisons between the students and faculty.
Purpose
The purpose of the Student Affairs Committee is to allow selected representatives of each class to have a discussion with the Dean – and many Assistant Deans – of the College of Pharmacy regarding student life or academic issues. The Student Affairs Committee shall meet with the dean one time each semester, toward the end of the semester. The student representatives shall get input from their class and bring current issues, research and possible solutions to monthly planning meetings.
Membership
- Each class will elect representatives to serve on the Student Affairs Committee. Each representative shall serve for one academic semester.
- The President and Vice President of Pharmacy Council will be ex officio members.
- The entire executive board of Pharmacy Council shall attend all planning meetings and have the option of attending the Dean’s meetings.
- The Assistant Dean of Student Success will also serve as an ex officio member.
