Thank you for submitting your RSVP for The College of Pharmacy Honors Day convocation to be held on April 6, 2019. You may want to bookmark or print this page for future reference.
If you need to make changes to your RSVP, please contact Janet Larsen (email@example.com or 512-471-1828) or fill out a new RSVP survey.
We feel that a College-based event is important for two major reasons:
- To recognize the outstanding academic effort of our students who have achieved the University criteria for Scholar’s recognition; and
- To recognize previous degree holders who meet the Scholar’s criteria (since they are not included in the University ceremony).
Our celebration will consist of a brief program recognizing each Scholar, followed by a complimentary lunch for you and one guest. One additional guest lunch may be purchased for $25. If you have RSVP’d to bring a second guest, please bring a check (made out to the University of Texas) on the day of the event.
10:30-11:00: Arrive and check-in at the Sylvie and Gary Crum Touchdown Club, on the 8th floor of the North End Zone at the Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. Please enter through gate 14 on the north side of the stadium and take the elevator to the 8th floor.
11:00-11:30: College Convocation
Master of Ceremonies: M. Lynn Crismon, Dean
Introduction of Scholars: Renee’ Acosta, Associate Dean
Recognition of Individual Scholars: Somshuvra Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor

Students attending the University ceremony should be at the Frank Erwin Center by 1:00 p.m.
We look forward to your participation in the program and the opportunity to recognize your outstanding academic effort. If you have any questions, please contact Janet Larsen (firstname.lastname@example.org or 512-471-1828).
The San Jacinto Garage (SJG) and Manor Garage (MAG) will be open and free to the public for Honors Day activities (see map below). Guests should take their ticket to the attendants and tell them that you are attending an Honors Day Program. The parking attendant should validate parking at no cost to Honors Day guests. Please arrive early, as there will be many people coming to UT campus on the morning of April 16th for Honors Day and other University activities. If you find the San Jacinto Garage (SJG) and Manor Garage (MAG) to be full, the next closest garage is the Brazos Garage (BRG), however parking will not be free at this location.
