Cite the P2C

We kindly urge you to maintain the practice of including the citation for the PRC’s NICHD center grant (P2CHD042849) in all of your publications. Should any of your publications involve graduate student fellows or postdoctoral fellows as authors, please remember to acknowledge the training grant (T32HD007081) as well.

Steps to Acknowledging the center grant or training grant and Complying with the NIH Public Access Policy:

1.    Acknowledge the P2C or T32 grants in your publication upon submission. 

2.    Upon acceptance to the journal, notify us.

3.    Address copyright – ensure full compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy before you sign your contract. 

4.    Make sure the paper is deposited. 

Know your Submission Method

·         Method A: Publish in a journal that deposits all NIH-funded final published articles in PMC without author involvement. 

·         Method B: Make arrangements to have a publisher deposit a specific final published article in PMC. 

·         Method C: Deposit the final peer-reviewed manuscript in PMC yourself via the NIHMS.

·         Method D: Complete the submission process for a final peer-reviewed manuscript that the publisher has deposited via NIHMS.
