All new full-time benefits eligible employees will receive an email with a link to the New Employee Checklist which outlines some important tasks they are responsible for completing as new employees of the university in the first days and weeks of their appointment including attending NEW EMPLOYEE WELCOME ORIENTATION (NEWO) or watch the pre-recorded NEWO video on UTLearn, complete compliance training, and enrollment in benefits.
They will also receive information about their Office 365 employee email address. All employees are required to use an Office 365/Outlook email address (@austin.utexas.edu). Gmail (@utexas.edu) email addresses are no longer acceptable due to privacy concerns.
