Alaina Boyle is the Project PISCES coordinator. She received her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. Alaina has worked on broad range of research projects with children and families in school, home, and hospital settings. Her research interests lie in the socioemotional development and academic achievement of minority and low-income youth. Alaina is interested in how culture, family, school, and socioeconomic factors affect psychological adjustment, academic outcomes and self-views in minority and low-income children and adolescents.
