Internship with a national, international, or local public health delivery organization. Prior coursework or background in health and policy studies or related fields is preferred.
SIT: Traditional Medicine & Healthcare Systems | Madagascar	Summer	Self-designed research project related to Madagascar’s healthcare models and dimensions of healthcare delivery. Global healthcare and economic, social, and environmental factors. Ethnobotany, and home and folk remedies. Students with a background in French will have many opportunities to use their French language skills.
SIT: Community Health and Social Policy | South Africa	Fall, Spring	Internship at a rural or urban hospital or a community health center or clinic. Option for self-designed research project.
SIT: Psychology, Well-being & Mental Health | Jordan	Fall, Spring	Internship with health clinics, clinical psychology clinics, counseling centers, health and psychiatric hospitals and centers, and health, psychiatric, and psychology clinics of non-governmental organizations Option for self-designed research project. Previous college-level coursework or background in general psychology, principles of psychology, basics of psychology, introduction to psychology, counseling, social work, or related disciplines is required.

SIT: Traditional Medicine & Healthcare Practices | India	Summer	Through visits to and interaction with organizations and individuals working in India’s traditional healthcare system, students gain firsthand exposure to t he practices and environments social contexts of these alternative methods of wellness.
SIT: Traditional Medicine & Community Health | Vietnam	Summer	Social, economic, and cultural paradigms that frame traditional Vietnamese medicine. Healthcare and health delivery among diverse groups, including marginalized and indigenous populations. The philosophy behind traditional Vietnamese medicine and its connection with traditional Chinese medicine. Herbal remedies, medicinal preparation, Vietnamese massage, and acupuncture
Absolute Internship	1, 2, or 3 month programs with monthly start-dates year-round	Full-time internship placements for students of all majors. Interns’ professional development will be supplemented by the Career Speaker Series, a lecture series by industry professionals.
Child Family Health International (CFHI)	Year round programs: 4-16 week immersion programs, 1 or 2 week intensive programs.	Ethical health-related internship placements that connect students with local health professionals and community health leaders. These programs can serve as a stepping stone to careers in medicine, nursing, policy, human rights, and business.
CRCC Asia	1, 2, or 3 month programs with monthly start-dates year-round	Full-time internship placements for students of all majors. The internship is supplemented by Career Bridge, a professional development hub including a series of self-guided courses based on the NACE career readiness competencies. Participants can also select a placement-only program or opt to add on guided travel for an additional fee.
Global Experiences	Programs are three months in fall and spring, and 2 months in summer.	Internship programs for students of all majors supplemented by an award-winning professional development program in collaboration with Gallup Education based on the Clifton StrengthsFINDER assessment.
