The time is near for our October meeting, which will take place on Friday, October 24th in CLA 3.106 from 3-5pm. We will have a guest speaker: Kareem Khubchandani, who is the Embrey Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow for UT’s Women’s and Gender Studies Department. You can see his profile here.
Kareem will be discussing his essay, “Terrifying performances: post-9/11 misrecognition in Bollywood’s diaspora”; if you are interested in coming to the meeting and are not on the R&E listserv, please contact one of the organizers – Shantel, Anima, or Kathy – and they will forward along the paper.
