Annamaria Motrescu-Mayes is a visual anthropologist based at the University of Cambridge as an affiliated lecturer and research associate at the Centre of South Asian Studies and a research fellow at Clare Hall College. She is currently working on her research project, “Visual priming and Ceylonese identities since the late nineteenth century.”
