Members of our lab joined a hands-on deconstruction training in San Antonio. Watching skilled crews carefully dismantle buildings rather than demolish them was eye-opening and inspiring. Deconstruction helps divert materials from landfills while supporting workforce development, reuse markets, and circular construction practices. We’re excited to see this movement growing in Texas and to continue supporting it through research and partnerships. Check out our LinkedIn post!
