Date: January 2010
Publication Type: Evaluation Report, 28pp.
This report is the third in a series of evaluations conducted of Travis County’s Rapid Employment Model pilot project sponsored by Workforce Solutions – Capital Area. This project seeks to demonstrate that work readiness and short-term occupational skills training, combined with active job placement assistance, can lead to successful employment outcomes for jobseekers who might otherwise struggle in the labor market. This report focuses on project outcomes and results from a quasi-experimental impact analysis.
