The Southwest Commission on Religious Studies is hosting its annual meeting at the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas in Irving, Texas this year. The event gathers faculty, students, authors, publishers, religious leaders, and other members from the Southwest regional chapters of the American Academy of Religion, the Association for the Scientific Study of Religion, the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion, and the Society of Biblical Literature. The panels, paper sessions, and round tables provide the opportunity to present research, engage in scholarly dialogue, and connect with colleagues. This year two Religious Studies graduate students are representing the University of Texas at Austin with paper presentations.
