ELectrocatalysis is sensitively dependent on interfaces. The structural heterogeneity at the electrode surface often poser a challenge in properly studying the interfacial structural-reactivity relationship.
In addition, the interface is also dynamically changing. Understanding and leveraging this dynamics allow us to design new electrocatlaytic reactivity at electrochemical interfaces.
