Dr. Wen Zhao
Postdoctoral Researcher, 2023-2024
JSPS Fellow at National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba, Japan
Dr. Wen Zhao received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from King Abdullah University and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, in 2022. He earned B.S. and M.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics from the Xi’an University of Science and Technology (XUST), Xi’an, China, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Wen’s research interests include static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear of MEMS/NEMS resonators with their applications in sensing (such as gas/magnetic sensors and smart sensors), and actuation (for instance, to amplify the dynamic output signal.) Wen also works on the analytical modeling, simulations, optimization, and measurements of the MEMS for improved sensing and actuation, and analysis of complicated nonlinear dynamics.
