Executive Board

Lincoln Schuler ’27
President
Lincoln comes from a traditional percussion background of 7 years, and his favorite percussive instrument has always been the marimba. He loves bonsai trees and one day hopes to have an outdoor garden filled with the artistic tiny plants. He can talk about Minecraft for hours. Lincoln is an undergraduate planning to attend pharmacy school so he can earn his PharmD and work in medicine.

Santiago López ‘28
Vice President
Santiago’s tunes began with accordion flows
He expanded his beat to percussive blows.
Santiago’s an ad major with a visionary sight,
Hoping to aid new ventures to booming heights.
When he’s on the field his performance is ight,🤫
But where he really shines is on the stage at night.
In his freetime his alter ego shines,
On the computer he yearns for the mines.
(He also really likes Natalia Lafourcade)

Though Kyra “Artichoke” Ullman’s traditional percussion training is nonexistent, her background includes 10 years of playing the oboe as well as 17 years of piano. She also enjoys outdoor activities; her trunk is always packed with tennis rackets, skates, and biking gear. Kyra is studying biomedical engineering, and plans to pursue a career in medical imaging technology after graduation.
Leadership Chairs

Audrey Bactad ’26
Creative Chair
Audrey is a psychology major who plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. She has no prior percussion experience. She did, however, learn music by playing a little bit of violin here and there and finally joining the orchestra during her senior year of high school. SOUnD has made up the rest of her music learning so far, to which she is immensely grateful. Some of Audrey’s other hobbies include consuming the arts, doodling, crocheting, and trying to pick up guitar.

Evan McDaniel ‘26
Events Chair
Evan McDaniel is a double major in Spanish and Economics with plans on pursuing a career in the international business field. He comes from a traditional percussion background of 7 years, with his favorite instruments being the marimba and quads. Outside of academics, Evan enjoys playing video games, learning guitar like his father before him, and reading comic books that mostly comprise Marvel Comics.

Mathew Martin ‘28
Media Chair
Mathew has the full 7 yards of traditional percussion experience and is a fake Economics major un-secretly chasing CS dreams. Realistically, he wants a career in programming, but his real dream is to bring his endless creative visions to life. In his free time, he plays all sorts of wonderfulicious games, draws, and makes wacky music. A little birdie told me he might even drop an album soon . He could also talk your ear off about Tame Impala or maybe even a little MGMT if you’re interested?
Set Leaders

Ravi Adluru ‘28
Ravi has played percussion throughout middle school and high school, playing marimba, snare, or the drumkit. He’s an undergrad aerospace engineering major and while he’s not *attempting* to lock-in, you can usually find him learning a new song on the drumkit, reading, or asleep.

Eli Brown ‘27
Eli has played percussion since the age of 5. He enjoys working as an axe-throwing instructor and likes to watch poorly-rated horror movies. Eli is an undergraduate student studying biology with plans to eventually work in the medical field as a physician.

Jessica Lin ’27
Jessica is a psychology major with 13 years of violin experience and 7 years of percussion experience. Outside of music, she enjoys playing video games, watching anime and reading manga, and jamming with J-Pop. One other fun fact about Jessica is that she can speak 3 and a half languages (this includes English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Taiwanese)! After graduation, she plans to eventually pursue a career in music therapy.

Manisha Sahu ’27
Manisha has a traditional percussion background of 7 years and enjoys playing drumset, marimba, and guitar. Ben Wu ’27
Ben Wu is a Computer Science major and has a traditional percussion background of 7 years and enjoys playing keyboard instruments. He also has played piano since he was 9 and likes listening to and performing songs from video game soundtracks such as Stardew Valley or Pokémon.
