Huge thanks to Dr. Chris Glazner and Dr. Dan Huff for a much needed post-expo dinner! Both Dr. Glazner and Dr. Huff studied Plan II and Electrical Engineering at UT Austin. The two interned at Applied Research Laboratories in Austin, Texas, gaining incredible skills and knowledge while working on projects there. In fact, Dr. Huff is still at ARL working on cutting edge research. Dr. Glazner currently works at MITRE, where he has been working at the intersection of technical policy and engineering in the US government for the past decade. We all enjoyed hearing about their experience at UT and their different paths after their undergraduate degrees. From finding a soulmate in Plan II to working on top secret government operations, there was plenty to talk about over our meals! Dinner was an absolute pleasure, and we look forward to the next one.
