Tom Dison, Recreational Sports, was awarded the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Foundation (NIRSA) Leadership Award for exceptional contributions and leadership. The foundation raises funds to nurture future leaders in collegiate recreation.

Greg Liotta, Center for Students in Recovery, presented on the “Common Thread” program at the Austin Recovery second Saturday brown bag lunch. “Common Thread” is a model for engaging audiences around addiction and recovery.
Kathy Mosteller, Andrew Fang and Luis Seija, University Health Services, presented “Student Clinic Volunteers in College Health Centers: Examining Two Successful Models” at the American College Health Association 2014 Annual Meeting in San Antonio.
Kathy Mosteller and Stephanie Ng, University Health Services, presented “Developing a Sustainable System for Managing and Reducing Medical Waste” at the American College Health Association 2014 Annual Meeting in San Antonio.
Gage Paine, vice president for Student Affairs, became the first recipient of the Dr. V. Ray Cardozier Alumni Excellence Award. The award is bestowed by the UT Austin Higher Education Administration Program and honors a graduate from the program’s doctoral program who has recently demonstrated excellence in scholarly and professional work.

Jamillah Stewart, Housing and Food Service, was named the Hall Coordinator of the Year at the annual Residence Life Leadership Banquet. Stewart was nominated by students living on campus.
